Genus Cryptocelides

Bergendal, 1890

Polyposthiidae without tentacles. Intestinal trunk short, with several pairs of lateral branches, which ramify without anastomosing. Male pore posterior to female one. Vasa deferentia lateral to the uterine canals; no seminal vesicle; from 2-8 pyriform prostatic organs in the pockets around the male antrum, into which they open. Vagina narrow, forming an anteriorly-directed loop; with vagina bulbosa; Lang's vesicle sacciform; uterine canals separated anteriorly.
