Genus Cryptocelis

Lang, 1884

Cryptocelididae with oval or broadly-oval body. No nuchal tentacles. Eyes small, disposed marginally and in cerebral, tentacular and frontal clusters. Much ruffled pharynx in middle of body. Genital pores separated. Male copulatory complex lies anteriorly to its aperture; prostatic organ interpolated, large, close behind pharynx, enclosed in thick muscular envelope, and consisting of two chambers, a glandular proximal or anterior chamber and a muscular distal or posterior chamber; penis-papilla variably developed or absent. Vagina simple, without Lang's vesicle; uterine canals lateral to vasa deferentia and not confluent anteriorly.
