Plehniidae without tentacles. Eyes very small, disposed in paired cerebral and tentacular clusters; frontal eyes present; marginal eyes in several rows anteriorly, decreasing gradually to individual eyes posteriorly. Moderately-folded pharynx centrally placed, less than one-third of the body length; anterior and posterior intestinal branches anastomosing. Male pore anteriorly to, and well separated from, female pore. Male copulatory complex with a pair of spermiducal vesicles; prostatic organ muscular and independent; penis-papilla short and broad. Lang's vesicle elongate; ductus vaginalis connects female antrum with vagina interna. Uterine canals lateral to vasa deferentia, not confluent anteriorly.
