Genus Stylostomum

Lang, 1884

Euryleptidae with a small or very small, broadly-oval, body bearing inconspicuous marginal tentacles. Tentacular and cerebral eyes few, but each kind in paired cluster. The intestinal trunk with up to six pairs of lateral branches; secondary branches not anastomosing. Mouth and male aperture open together into a common atrium immediately posterior to the cerebral organ. Male copulatory complex anterior to the pharynx; female complex beneath or posterior to hinder end of the pharynx. Uterine canals run anteriorly and posteriorly from vagina to form a H-shaped figure.
