Description:
Animal with an oval and translucent body. Colour is milky white with a yellowish tinge. Up to 40 mm long and 20 mm wide, sometimes wider posteriorly than anteriorly. Nuchal tentacles are absent. Eyes are small; tentacular eyes in two clusters, each with three or four eyes, on postero-lateral borders of cerebral organ; cerebral eyes in two small rounded clusters on antero-lateral borders of cerebral organ; frontal eyes in paired cluster near anterior margin of body; marginal eyes around body (C. equiheni-eyes).
The genital pores are separated. The male copulatory complex lies anteriorly to its aperture; prostatic organ interpolated, large, close behind the pharynx, enclosed in a thick muscular envelope and consisting of two chambers: a glandular proximal or anterior chamber and a muscular distal or posterior chamber. The vagina is simple, without Lang's vesicle; the uterine canals are lateral to the vasa deferentia and are not confluent anteriorly.
Life cycle is not known.
Habitat:
In shallow waters (till 16 m), on sandy mud.
